General Overview
COP17’s Green Zone will serve as an open and publicly accessible platform bringing together innovative ideas, community-led initiatives, and practical environmental solutions. Designed for broad public engagement, it will welcome youth, civil society organizations, members of the scientific and academic communities, artists, innovators, media representatives, and all interested citizens.
The Green Zone will feature exhibitions, presentations of innovative projects and technologies, immersive and interactive installations, community dialogues, film screenings, and cultural programming. Daily “Meet the Scientists and Practitioners” sessions will also be organized, providing participants with opportunities to engage directly with experts and explore current environmental challenges and solutions.
The Green Zone will be hosted at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, serving as one of the main public engagement and environmental awareness platforms of COP17.
Access to the Green Zone will be free of charge; however, due to limited capacity, participation in certain events may require prior free registration.
